Training/Certification Maintenance

Also providing the opportunity to receive CEUs by reading the articles in the Journal of Applied Rehabilitation Counseling (JARC) and responding to the questions regarding each article. Publication

Subscription to the Journal of Applied Rehabilitation Counseling (JARC) published quarterly. The Journal will keep you current on issues, approaches to practice, legislation, techniques, and innovations in the field.


Membership Categories/Criteria
Professional - Possess a minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in rehabilitation counseling with one year minimum experience and employment in a rehabilitation setting
OR
A Master’s degree from an accredited institution related to rehabilitation counseling (e.g., research, supervision, administration, or training with two-years minimum experience and employment in a rehabilitation setting).
OR
Certified by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC).
 
Member - Possess a Baccalaureate degree in rehabilitation services (if not certified by CRCC) and be employed in a rehabilitation services setting.
 
Affiliate Member - Any individual employed in a supporting, ancillary capacity in the rehabilitation process.
 
Undergraduate Student - Enrolled full or part-time at an accredited institution in a curriculum leading to a baccalaureate degree in Rehabilitation Services or related.
 
Graduate Student - Enrolled full or part-time at an accredited institution in a curriculum leading to a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Rehabilitation Psychology, or related field.
